Butter Bell Workshop

Would you like to make something both beautiful and practical for your kitchen? In this workshop, we create our own butter bell — a classic butter keeper that keeps your butter soft and ready to use, while also becoming a charming detail on your countertop. We take it step by step, in a calm and relaxed pace. You’ll learn the basics of hand-building with clay, how to shape the two parts so they fit perfectly together, and how to give your butter bell a personal touch. This workshop is suitable for everyone — even if you've never worked with clay before. You choose the style you want: minimalist, rustic, smooth, textured, patterned, or clean and simple. After the course, we dry, fire and glaze your butter bell for you, and you will receive it finished and ready to use. ⭐ What you will learn • Basic hand-building techniques • How to construct a butter bell • Forming, structure and design • Choosing glaze colours ⭐ Included • 2–2.5 hour workshop • Guidance from an experienced ceramic artist • Clay and all necessary tools • Glazing and firing done by us • One finished butter bell made by you • Light refreshments ⭐ Bonus After the course, you receive 50% off your first month of membership at COSEDA Studio – perfect if you’d like to come back and create more. ⭐ Practical information Age limit Children under 14 cannot attend this course. Address COSEDA Studio Frognerveien 1, 2016 Frogner We are located right under the restaurant Frauna, above Kiwi in the centre of Frogner. Parking • Large parking lot at Melvold Swimming Hall (behind the school) • At the sports hall after 16:00 or on weekends • Good public transport options within short walking distance If you cannot find us If the door is closed or you need help finding your way, call us up to one hour before the course starts: +47 97 28 38 02 ⭐ Collecting your ceramics After the workshop, your piece needs time to dry, be fired and glazed.
