Wheel Throwing Course – Learn to Shape Clay on the Pottery Wheel
Do you dream of sitting at a pottery wheel and shaping your own ceramic objects? At COSEDA Studio we create a calm and inspiring atmosphere where you can learn the basic techniques of wheel throwing. We work in small groups, ensuring close guidance throughout the entire session. You’ll explore how the clay responds, how to control form and thickness, and how a simple lump of clay can become a beautiful cup, bowl, or small vase. Perfect for complete beginners as well as those who want to build on a little experience. ⭐ What we do during the course • Short introduction to clay, tools and the pottery wheel • Demonstration of basic throwing techniques • You get your own wheel for the entire class • Help with form, thickness and finishing ❗ Important! After the course, you clean your own workspace and pottery wheel. ⭐ Included • 2.5-hour course • Guidance from an experienced instructor • All necessary tools • Clay for what you make during the course • Transparent, food-safe glazing and firing of one selected item.
